Game Warp Podcast: 2017 Gaming in Review (with guest Insomnia Knights)

After a rather longer than usual hiatus due to the technical difficulties I’ve talked about  here before with my computer which does the video editing, we’re finally back with an overdue 2017 in review episode with our darling friend and guest Insomnia Knights. We talk about our thoughts on 2017 games and some games that stood out for us as well as some little tangents on Telltale Games and our feelings about the Nintendo Switch now that its finally released and has a few games released.

Do remember that this is 2 months after our recording. Better late than never, right?

Game Warp Podcast: ‘Batman: The Telltale Series’ Review

Game Warp Podcast’s new episode is here!
We are looking at our March featured game, Batman: The Telltale Series!

This episode, Elwood and I sit down with Youtube Gamer Slaymate, aka Insomnia Knights, to talk about Batman: The Telltale Series. We talk about what we thought about the story arcs that Telltale Games choose and how they made it their own. The conversation lead to the choices that tailored the story and game flow along with the game mechanics which are mostly the quick time events based. We end the conversation with whether we think there will be a sequel and what heroes or villains we’d like to see if it did happen as well as pitch other franchises that Telltale Games should do that could be fun.

Thanks for watching!

The Wolf Among Us Episode 3: The Crooked Mile and the To Kill or Not To Kill Moment

Check out Episode 3 of The Wolf Among Us over at That Moment In! Playing as Bigby Wolf is a pretty crazy awesome time 😉 I’m loving Fabletown!

That Moment In.com

The StoryPicking up right where we left off in Smokes and Mirrors, Ichabod Crane has run away and we suspect him to have a very unhealthy obsession over Snow and possibly the man responsible for the death of the decapitated prostitutes. Bigby is more than angry.  Snow is on edge and Beauty and the Beast are implicated because of their connection to Open Arms.  It leads us to learn that there might be something bigger going on here and it involves a mysterious behind the scenes man called The Crooked Man.

Episode ReviewThe Crooked Mile puts everything in perspective. It picks up at full pace. We feel the danger of the situation. There was no doubt that Crane was a scumbag but the reveal of just what he does to a prostitute glamored as Snow is just shocking. This episode is about tough decisions. Bigby…

The StoryBigby is held in custody by the NYPD in questioning for the death of Snow, whose decapitated head was found at his apartment building. With the help of Mr. Crane, who uses a secret weapon, he is released. Crane and Bluebeard then back Bigby as he questions Tweedledee (or The Woodsman depending on your choice in the previous episode). At this moment, Snow suddenly appears. We learn that the real dead girl was glamoured to look like her. This leads him down a path to a club called Pudding-N-Pie, where the deceased girl worked, to talk to cocky club owner, Georgie. Georgie sends him to the Open Arms Hotel where they discover the crime scene.

Episode ReviewThis next episode picks up right off from the shocking and dramatic ending of the last. Right away, a sense of despair comes over us as we wonder whether we made a bad…

Sheriff Bigby (aka The Big Bad Wolf) (voiced by Adam Harrington) is now the Sheriff designated to uphold the laws and make sure that everyone stays hidden in this human world, if not, he has to send them off to The Farm.
