Steve’s Music Mix: Fashion Victim…

Here we are at another round of Steve’s Music Mix.

I saw the heading and knew nothing good could come of this week’s.  There was no logical way that things would work out with my current playlist in my MP3 player. Still, I’m a stubborn person, so I figured how far could I stretch my answers 😉

How do I look today?

I’d say that I’m looking pretty nice if I’m getting this song. Kissing and falling in love; love and lust.  Well, honestly, I love what I’m wearing so I guess that works for me 🙂 I rarely would agree but some days I just have the perfect weather to match the perfect outfit and today is one of them.

What should I wear tonight?

–>Outside – Green River Ordinance

I’m not exactly sure I know how that work.  Is it urging me to get my workout gear or my gardening clothes tonight so that I head outside? I guess if it doesn’t rain that could be a possibility.

What should I wear tomorrow?

–>On My Way – Boyce Avenue

Ummm…I don’t even know what to write for this one.  Tomorrow I’m supposed to wear something that can help me move about? Comfortable and presentable is usually what I aim for, even for work.  Although, tomorrow is supposed to hit over 30s degree Celsius so maybe it might be nice to find those comfy flats, skirts, summer dresses. Some summer clothes digging tonight to prepare for tomorrow 😉

There you have it! My playlist isn’t very much clothes related but I think it worked out not too badly.  I just don’t think I will let me MP3 dictate my choice in clothing 😉

It was funny while I was doing it though! I think thats the point, right? Right! 🙂

Steve’s Music Mix: What Am I On…?

I’ve been doing Steve’s Music Mix for a few weeks now.  I’m sure a lot of you already know how it works.

In a nutshell, Steve at Steve Says… chooses three questions and we put our music players (IPod, MP3, etc) on shuffle and we say the questions and whatever song it lands on, thats the answer to that question.

I’m always dreaming, so I guess thats right.  I’m working on a dream as well and aiming to fulfill my dreams.  Most days, I feel like I’m on a dream.

*Confused yet? If that made no sense, its the cold meds, ok?*

I’m in…?

–>Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You) – Kelly Clarkson

If you look at the context of the song, no, I’m not in a breakup and recovering.  Or maybe if you look at my job, I guess I’m in that phase right now: what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. I guess that works.

I’m over…?

–>In The Dark – Tiesto ft. Christian Burns

I’m pretty sure I’m still mildly scared of the dark but I guess, I could take it that I’m over needing someone to be with me in the dark? Or maybe, just that I’m over the life I had when I was obsessed with this song because that caused a lot more bad than good, although I still love it but in a completely different way 😉

The answers are stretching it a little this time but I’ve had a less cooperative MP3 player before so I’m going to be content that it didn’t go completely nonsensical on me.

Steve’s Music Mix: Where Is It?

Finally the rush is over at work.  Kind of. It feels nice to be able to breath normally and function properly like eat lunch at a decent pace at a reasonable time.  I took a little break yesterday to recuperate a little because my brain was a mesh.  So lets get back on track slowly.  I have a lot planned but lets pick things up with Steve’s Music Mix.

Just a little simple recap on how this works, Steve at Steve Says picks three questions where you need to put your music player (MP3/Ipod etc) on shuffle.  You say the question and whichever song you end up on is the one that answers your question. 🙂 Last week, I had some pretty hopeless answers to the question that made absolutely no sense.  Lets see how this week goes.

Where is your happy place?

When I don’t care and find the enlightenment to say “f@&k it” to all the judge-y people out there of my life, thats really my happy place. Its also doing things spontaneously and having fun without thinking about too much, just the feel good stuff, thats my happy place also. 🙂

Where are you now?

I have nothing to say about this.  Seriously, nothing.  I’m not in jail and well, I’m pretty sure I didn’t commit any crimes.  Maybe my imperfection is a crime in the eyes of some insignificant people in my life. But then if you look at the lyrics,

Tomorrow cannot be like this.
And even though it’s such a simple world,
tomorrow cannot be like this.

Thats really where I am for at least one aspect of my life, not physically but mentally 😉

Another week went by so fast and aside from workload overflowing, at least there’s always Steve’s Music Mix to make my day.  Looking at how his player was treating him in a fairly decent way, I wonder if mine would do the same.

I don’t know how to interpret this.  I think my MP3 is saying that I’m a bad slow kisser.  I don’t think I’ve had complaints yet but then that would just be rude, right?

Seriously? No comments, ok? I think its a bit mixed up between good and bad.   Oh, oh, or it means that I’m so good at singing the Moulin Rouge soundtrack.  Well, I do like it a lot 🙂

I want to be good at…?

–>Paramore – Still Into You (Tiffany Alvord Cover)

Huh? Excuse me? I give up…I’m don’t need to “want” to be still into my boyfriend.  I already am.  Or..if it means that I want to be good at making covers.  That I do very much want to do and I’m working on those skills bit by bit.

My MP3 has been a tad mixed up.  It could be because that its running out of juice and after that last song, just ran out of batteries completely.  Maybe you’d like your MP3 to give you some of these answers and join into this fun 🙂
