For this week’s challenge, share a photo that shows what spring means to you…No matter which hemisphere you’re in, think about how the season’s change will expand your own chance to play outside, taking pictures as you go! – The Daily Post
Spring means a lot in my family, mostly that everyone is getting older especially in me and my boyfriend’s side of the family. However, this year in March, it still felt like winter. May finally came around with our spring weather and nothing defines it like seeing the trees bud and the flowers bloom.
Except with the fluctuating weather, flowers haven’t quite bloomed yet but there a whole lot more green around us.
I took a few quick shots yesterday evening after work in my front yard: some tulip leaves, some little purple flowers and some more green plants intertwined with twigs.
Tulips not yet in bloom
Purple flowers fallen over from the wind and rain
I don’t know the name of the last one or the purple flowers. My mom tends to plant and plant and we make up names but we never really figure out the real thing. Still, I’m happy to see more green in the yard.
Hopefully, we’ll be seeing more dabs of colors around also 🙂
What does spring mean to you?
This past week’s photo challenge was Pattern. We see patterns everywhere. This factor made it all the harder to do as it gave us so many more choices and so many more angles to take.
I ended up choosing one of my favorite subjects –> Flowers. Their patterns differ to the type and whether it be the petals, the pollen or whatnot, they all have their patterns.
Pink Flowers..don’t know the name
String of Gold and Pussy Willows
Purple Bells..don’t know the name either
Little purple flowers…unknown name…
Aren’t flowers just beautiful with their awesome patterns? These were from my garden from last summer till as recent as this spring.
This is my response to this week’s Weekly Photo Challenge: Pattern!
I’m about to head out to another overtime day at work. Somehow having great fantastic sleep last night was great 🙂
Yesterday I spent resting yet again and drinking another few buckets of water and trying to flush more toxins out of my body and you know what?
I think it worked 🙂
Also, Spring has arrived in my garden with these beautiful little purple flowers lighting up one little corner.
The tulips and daffodils will be coming soon and I promise I’ll post those up as soon as they appear!
Plus, there is this song thats making me extremely happy and its stuck in my head. I leave you with this fun song!
Something about being called a “little chickadee” makes me giggle. Maybe I am cheesy and silly that way (or simply just a romantic), but this song is just so cute. All I can do is sing and smile and dance a little. Suddenly going to work doesn’t feel too bad. I’m all amped up!
How about you? Are you all amped up for this beautiful Sunday?
