TMI Podcast: The Random Chat Show All About the Best James Bond Villains

Bond 24, SPECTRE, hits theatres this week.  I went to go see it yesterday on opening night. My review will go up for it some time next week.  However, before we go there, this week’s podcast was all about our favorite James Bond villains.  We even dabble a little in the gadgets and girls world because you know, its all part of a James Bond movie.

Hope you enjoy!

A special mention to Opinion Battles hosted by Movie Reviews 101.

Opinion Battles Round 14 – Who Should Be The Next James Bond?

Round 14 of Opinion Battles and we pose an important question: Who should be the next James Bond? Spectre is coming out this Friday in Canada and I have my ticket already so its just waiting to go see it. It did take some effort to arrive to my choice but for me, Tom Hardy can do a great job at it. He’s the right age, classy, charming, lots of style and can handle some good action sequences. Check out the other choices and drop a vote on who you agree with the most!

Who should be the next James Bond?

We have Spectre out in the cinema and Daniel Craig’s four deal Bond contract up, we are left wondering will he return for another outing as the iconic spy or is it time for someone new? We have looked at who we want in the next tuxedo but who do you think is the best choice?

007 December – Skyfall (2012) – Tranquil Dreams

Check out the last review I wrote for 007 December Blogathon over at MovieRob’s for Skyfall. I was THE BEST James Bond experience I had and the review says it all.
If you haven’t checked out the other posts on MovieRob’s blog or the other entries in this 007 Blogathon, you definitely should check it out. I’ve been slowly catching up myself and the posts are all extremely awesome! 🙂

The final review that I’m contributing to 007 December Blogathon is also the latest Bond release, Skyfall.  Honestly, I was pretty excited to see this because I was talking to my really good friend (who is a Bond fanatic) about which is his favorite Bond movie and he said it was this one.  I don’t trust his judgment for many movies but I do when it comes to Bond.  Plus, I’m a huge fan of Daniel Craig’s Bond.

007 December – Diamonds Are Forever (1971) – Tranquil Dreams

Here’s my second review for MovieRob’s 007 December Blogathon. This time we have Diamonds are Forever also featuring Sean Connery as James Bond. After the first one, its a lot easier to like his James Bond except I had a way harder time getting through this one 🙂
Remember to go check out the rest of the entries. I’m been working hard trying to catch up with everyone’s. The ones I’ve read are really awesome! Head on over and check it all out!
Thanks again to Rob for letting me join in (especially with more than one review)! 🙂

Kim from Tranquil Dreams gives us her thoughts on today’s Bond movie – Diamonds are Forever.

Thanks Kim!

After a satisfactory experience with Sean Connery’s Bond and You Only Live Twice, I went right along and put on Diamonds Are Forever.  Still, Sean Connery and a little later.  Apparently, he came back to do this one? I don’t know.  I’m still a little iffy with the idea and to start this off, it took me two times to get through this.

Director: Guy Hamilton

Cast: Sean Connery, Charles Gray, Jill St. John, Putter Smith, Bruce Glover

You know what? I don’t know how to write the plot for this one so here’s from IMDB:

A diamond smuggling investigation leads James Bond to Las Vegas, where he uncovers an extortion plot headed by his nemesis, Ernst Stavro Blofeld.

I’m a bit torn on how to review this Diamonds Are Forever.  Unlike…

007 December – You Only Live Twice (1967) – Tranquil Dreams

On this cold Monday morning, let me direct your attention to MovieRob’s 007 December Blogathon. I’ve chosen to do a few reviews. The first one to go up is on You Only Live Twice starring Sean Connery as the handsome James Bond. It was a very different feeling from the more recent ones.
While you’re doing that, remember to check out MovieRob and give him a follow so that you don’t miss any of his awesome reviews along with the rest of the 007 Blogathon entries 🙂

For our second review of You Only Live Twice (1967), here’s a review by Kim of Tranquil Dreams.

Thanks Kim!

Before I start the review, I’d like to say that I’m not very well versed in James Bond.  I watched maybe two Pierce Brosnan ones and then the first two Daniel Craig ones. When Rob decided to do this 007 blogathon, I struggled a little to decide whether I should do this.  Still, I ended up with Sean Connery’s James Bond.  I have no idea what to expect so lets give this one a look, shall we? I’m sure it’ll be an interesting experience.
