Round 11 of Opinion Battles is upon us! This time’s task is to share which films we thought should never have had a sequel. I have to say this did take a little brainstorming to do, however, I’m pretty confident about my choice. What might not be a horrible standalone movie was also not necessary and yes, I’m talking about 300: Rise of the Empire. It had a lot of 300’s tone but lacked so much in the charm in fact just felt like a meaningless story but done in a much less appealing way.
Some fantastic choices here as well. Head on over and check them out and drop a vote on which selection agree with the most!
Which Film Should Never Have Had a Sequel?
We as an audience can find ourselves sitting through endless sequels, prequels and remakes, some we enjoyed others we find ourselves wondering why they made another film in the first place at all. We are going to be looking at the films that should have remained stand-alone movies because the sequels have only ever eaten into the reputation of what was a great film.
If you want to join the next round of Opinion Battles we will be take on our Favourite Performance in a Horror Film, to enter email your choice to moviereviews101@yahoo.co.ukby 11th June 2017.

Home alone 3 was garbage! And if you never seen the mummy returns or eny of then please do yourself a favor and don’t waste 5 hours of your time watching the first movie…. I litterly rather be water boarded and shot up with crystal meth by a used needle. Please! Dont!

No worries about that. Usually if I’ve missed a franchise before, unless something comes up that peaks my interest, its usually forever lost in the to be watched abyss..especially when fellow bloggers tell me to avoid it 😉

Luckily..I have avoided all the above including the first Grown Ups, but then Adam Sandler has definitely had more misses than hits for myself. And it has Rob Schneider which I hate so very very much.
