This week’s photo challenge is themed Eerie. Whats eerie to you might not be for me. Thats why horror movies differ to so many people. We simply don’t get scared or feel those goosebumps. Its all part of our beliefs and the way our imagination works. To me, eerie is in the unknown: fog can create that; darkness can as well. Hidden things can also. Sometimes, its just something we link to something else that might or might not be the case.
This year at the Halloween party, some of the decor aimed to do a bit of the creepy eerie feeling.
Eerie is usually very much built by the right atmosphere. At least to me, that is what gives me that feeling 🙂

There was a building sense of the “eerie” as I perused your photographs. The first was not-so-eerie, the second one WAS eerie, the third one was even MORE eerie, the fourth was, oh yeah REALLY eerie, and the last one made me almost jump out of my skin. Thanks!

Totally agree. Mask are very creepy.

Seriously! A little girl came in with her stepmom to the party and she wouldn’t walk through the door because of that mask, and her mom had to take her home first…
