Today I had a random baking night! It is sort of considered a new baking adventure although I’ve used this same recipe but with pistachios before. This recipe I extracted from the Betty Crocker cookbook that I bought during the holidays. Its a pretty good recipe. I think that using dried cherries instead of pistachios gave it a nice touch as well.

I’ve also made a Christmas themed one before with pistachios and dried cranberries but that one was a bit softer in texture as it had butter/margarine as an additional ingredient. If anyone is interested in the recipe, please comment and I will find a way to send you a copy.
