Weekly Photo Challenge: Launch
For starters, I’d love to say that I was so happy that although daily topics have stopped, weekly photo challenge still continues! So that it can help out my Project 365.
Although, I had no idea what to do for this topic and as I flipped through the other blog submissions, it reminded me of my last boat launch in Hong Kong to see Pink Dolphins. It would be pointless to put up a photo of dolphins because they blended very well with the water and when they jumped out of the water, I was never skilled enough to catch the moment.
As I was flipping through the pictures from that album, I saw boats launched that day of different types and for different purposes. Let me share them with you as I reminisce.
All these boats launch for their own reasons. As I look at them, I see the beauty in each and every one of them.
On a side note, pink dolphins are close to extinction and therefore are protected in Hong Kong in the harbor. If you ever do get the chance, do go see them before all that pollution caused by the “Sea filling” (not really sure if thats the exact term) destroys their home. In Chinese, they are called white dolphins, but the reflection of the light or whatnot (excuse my lack of scientific knowledge), causes them to appear pink. Believe me, they looked very pink and it was an amazing experience.
